How the referral works

Riverstage Water Help is a referral service. It has no trucks, no crews and no equipment, and it does not perform water removal, drying, cleanup or repairs. It puts people in central Arkansas who have water damage in touch with independent local companies that do.

For now this service takes requests through the callback form only. A phone number will be added when one is available; where this page talks about calls, it describes how they will work then.

THREE STEPS

What happens when you send a request

Step 1You describe it

Your ZIP code or town, where the water came from, roughly how much is wet, and whether anything smells of sewage.

Step 2Your request is passed on

Your request is passed on to an independent restoration company serving your area that is taking work. Once a phone number is shown on this site, calls will be forwarded the same way, sometimes through a partner call network that matches calls with companies, and if nobody can pick up you will be able to leave a voicemail.

Step 3You deal with the company

The company inspects, gives its own estimate and, if you hire it, does the work. Price, schedule, scope, warranty and paperwork are between you and that company.

Who pays

You pay nothing for the referral. The restoration companies that take part pay a fee for the calls and requests sent to them. That is how the service is funded, and you should know it, because it means this is not a neutral review or ranking site.

Money you spend on the actual work goes to the company you hire, on terms you agree with it. Get those terms in writing.

If no company is taking requests

Sometimes no participating company is set up for your area, or all of them are busy after a freeze or a storm. Your request is then held and passed on only when a company covering your ZIP code is taking work, so you may not hear back. If water is spreading, don't wait on it; call any company you like.

What Riverstage does not do

  • It does not perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, demolition, mold work or rebuilding.
  • It does not employ, supervise or vouch for the companies, and it does not guarantee their work.
  • It does not check credentials for you. Verify that any company you hire is qualified for the job, and ask for proof.
  • It does not file, handle or negotiate insurance claims, and it cannot say whether a loss is covered.
  • It does not refer mold remediation. A mold assessment is a separate specialist matter.
  • It does not set prices or take payment for any work.

Your information

The details you give on the callback form are shared with a service partner and the company that may take your job, so it can contact you. They are not sold to data brokers. The privacy policy has the details and the terms set out the ground rules.

Why it exists

Finding a restoration company with a crew available right now is hard, especially after a freeze or a storm. A single request that goes to an available company saves a string of calls. The guides here, from the river and freeze guide to the sewer backup page, are written to help whoever you end up hiring. Service areas are listed on the areas page.

Want a restoration company to call you?

Shut off the source if you can, then send the callback form with your ZIP code, what leaked or flooded and how much is wet. When an independent restoration company that covers your area is taking work, the request goes to it and that company may call or text you. The referral costs nothing, and whether to hire is up to you.
