Privacy policy
Effective October 26, 2026. Riverstage Water Help is a referral service that connects people with independent water damage restoration companies. It does not perform restoration work. This page explains what information the service handles and why.
What you give us
When you send the callback form, we receive what you choose to share. On the form that is your name, phone number, ZIP code, the kind of problem and any details you type.
What the form sends, and where
When you submit the form, your entries are emailed to the referral line together with the time of the request, the page you sent it from, and your device's IP address and browser type. The extra details help us spot spam and abuse. From there the request is passed to a service partner and to the restoration company that may take the job.
Call information
No phone number is shown on this site yet, so no calls come through it. Once a number is shown, we will keep, for each call, the number you called from and the date, time and length of the call. This site does not record calls. Once a number is shown, calls to it may be routed through a partner call network that connects you with a local company, and that network may record calls under its own notice. If no company is available and you choose to leave a voicemail, we will keep that message so it can be passed on.
How it is used
- To connect you with an independent restoration company that serves your area and give it what it needs to contact you.
- To keep records of referrals, including for billing between the service and participating companies.
- To run the service and keep out misuse such as spam.
Who sees it
Your request goes to our service partner and to the restoration company or companies that may handle it. They are independent businesses with their own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We may share information if a government authority asks for it, or to protect someone's safety.
Phone and text contact
By sending the form you agree that Riverstage Water Help and its service partner may contact you by phone or text about your request; the company that takes the job may contact you too. That consent is not a condition of purchase. Riverstage Water Help itself does not send marketing texts. If you no longer want to be contacted about a request, tell whoever contacts you.
Website data
The servers that host this site keep standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested. The site does not use advertising cookies.
Keeping and protecting it
Request records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and reasonable business records, then deleted. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The service is for adults arranging help for a property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Send privacy questions through the contact page with the word "privacy" in the details box. See also the terms and how the referral works.
